The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose on only the items you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services. If required by law or other requirements mean you must buy an item you did not specifically select, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you selected.

Terms of Payment
At the completion of the arrangement conference with the funeral director, you will be presented with a STATEMENT OF GOODS AND SERVICES which is a contract between you and Divinity Funeral Home. This statement lists the services and merchandise we will provide for you and the terms of payment. The responsible party(ies) are required to sign this contract and you will be given a copy.
There are often items on the statement that are estimated, for example, newspaper notices, mileage charges, and other items for which we DO NOT have a final amount at the time of the arrangement conference. We will make an educated estimation of these charges; however, the total and final cost will be added to your contract later and you will be responsible for the final cost.
You may assign an insurance policy to pay all or part of the expenses. Insurance policy(ies) WILL BE verified with the insurer and information and signatures will be obtained from the beneficiary(ies) to assign the proceeds of the policy(ies) to Divinity Funeral Home. If the insurance proceeds are less than the amount necessary to pay your bill, they will be applied toward the account, with the balance remaining the responsibility of the purchaser(s) who signed the contract.
Divinity Funeral Home WILL NOT file or petition for contestable policies (life insurance that was obtained less than 2 years from date of coverage). A processing fee of 7% will be added to the total amount of insurance assigned to the funeral home. Cash, Visa, MasterCard, or Cashier’s Check are acceptable methods of payment.
Payment Policy
All business must be arranged and completed TWO (2) days prior to all services that will be rendered.
DIVINITY FUNERAL HOME ACCEPTS THREE FORMS OF PAYMENT:
- Cash Payments: This form of payment is due 48 hours prior to services being rendered. Cash, Debit, Certified Check, Cashier’s Check, and U.S. Postal Money Order are all considered CASH PAYMENTS.
- Credit Card Payments: Divinity Funeral Home accepts all MAJOR Credit Cards. Please be aware of all policies and charges offered through your credit card company. Divinity Funeral Home accepts no responsibility for additional charges accrued by your credit card lender. Payments made by credit card will require secured authorization of card holder and agreement of charges to be settled. Donations are accepted via our website, www.divinityfuneralhome.com, under the decedent’s obituary. The decedent’s obituary will be available immediately following the arrangement conference.
- Insurance Payments: Policy verification must be made 72 hours prior to services rendered. All necessary forms must be signed and documented with Divinity Funeral Home with a maximum of 48 hours prior to services rendered.
